Britta Invel is an Imperial and professional acrobat and was invited, along with her husband, Jaras, to Castle Leyawiin by Countess Alessia Caro to entertain the guests at a dinner party. Thus, she only appears in-game after starting Sanguine's Daedric Quest.

Sanguine tells the Hero that there is to be a dinner party at Castle Leyawiin hosted by Countess Alessia Caro. This party, Sanguine suspects, will be as "stuffy" as Alessia herself, so he sends them to liven up the party with a spell called Stark Reality which they are to cast on the Countess and her guests.
