Bruhl was part of the Jorrvaskr crew, commanded by Jeek of the River.
After reaching Mereth and reclaiming Saarthal, Bruhl and his crew went south to the area that is now known as Whiterun Hold. They settled there, making Bruhl to be among the first people who lived in Whiterun.
