A Bucket is a type of miscellaneous item commonly found across Skyrim in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Characteristics[]
They have no special effects and are only worth a small amount of gold. The Dragonborn can place a bucket over an NPC's head, so that they don't witness a crime. (Patched: A character will now throw the bucket off of their head if one is placed there.)
Locations[]
- The first variant can be found on the way to the second room of Helgen Keep when following Hadvar, or can be backtracked to with Ralof.
- They cannot be bought from vendors, but can be found inside houses, stores and many dungeons.
Trivia[]
- There are three types of buckets in Skyrim, differing in size. Some can be found with items inside them that can be removed or dumped out.

- In one of the Mythic Dawn Museum display cases, a page of the Mysterium Xarxes is displayed. If Flames is cast on the tattered page, it will turn into an immovable bucket.
- PS3 If a bucket is stood in, before it glitches you can hold the "take item" button, and jump and the bucket will stay in the air allowing you to fly upwards.
