Burden is a spell effect that temporarily increases the weight carried by the victim, causing faster Fatigue loss. The magnitude of the effect is the weight added. When the effect ends, the added weight disappears. This effect can be a spell, a potion, or an effect that is cast when struck with an enchanted weapon. This effect appears in both The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and its expansions, and in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
