Chaos Magic is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls Online in which the Vestige is instructed by Sheogorath on how to use Volendrung in Cyrodiil. It takes place in near the Eastern Elsweyr Gate, Northern Morrowind Gate, or Southern High Rock Gate depending on the Vestige's alliance.

Walkthrough[]
Upon speaking to Sheogorath, the Vestige will be asked to visit Cheesemonger's Hollow and try out the Daedric artifact, Volendrung, which Sheogorath had "borrowed" from Malacath.
At Cheesemonger's Hollow, the Vestige will find Volendrung on a weapon's rack. Once they've picked it up, they are to travel to different points in the Hollow to test out the hammer's various abilities. Sheogorath has arranged two types of enemies for the Vestige to attack Volendrung with: Xivkyn Dummy and Gibbering Idiot.
Once the Vestige has completed the test, they are to put the Volendrung back on the weapon's rack and speak to Sheogorath, who will praise them for the entertainment they provided. The quest will complete once the conversation is over.

- From this point onward, the Vestige has the option to take Volendrung from Cheesemonger's Hollow to use in the Alliance War. However, any attempt to remove the hammer from the realm will fail if another player already has it in their possession.
