The Chapel of Stendarr is located in Chorrol on the western side of the city, atop a modest hill. The layout is the same as any of the city-based Chapels. This chapel is staffed by Orag gra-Bargol, a spell merchant, Otius Loran, who knows of Jauffre, and Areldur.

Layout[edit | edit source]

Lined with pews, the Chapel of Stendarr features Altars of the Nine Divines, where the Blessings of the Gods can be attained. A staircase leading downward sits near the entrance to the chapel. Straight ahead lies the Chapel Hall, where the staff members sleep and eat. To the left and right are doors to the undercroft where corpses reside.

The Assassinated Man[edit | edit source]

The Hero of Kvatch might have visited the chapel's undercroft to restore Francois Motierre with, after helping him fake his death with Languorwine.

TESIV Location Chorrol Chapel.png

The The Elder Scrolls IV: Knights of the Nine plug-in adds the Nine Divines faction which includes all chapels and their staff. Becoming a member of the faction through a Pilgrimage, allows access to the chapel as though it were a guildhouse.

Stendarr's Mercy[edit | edit source]

Kellen and the Gauntlets of the Crusader are stuck to the chapel floor here, and an effigy of candles and flowers surround the mythic hand-armor. Pilgrims comes to visit the relics, attempting to lift them from the ground, but a magical force binds them there. The Hero of Kvatch might have recovered the gauntlets, putting the ghost of their previous owner to rest in the Chapel undercroft.
