A Chitin Helmet is a piece of light armor and part of the Chitin armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn.
Locations
This armor piece can only be found on the island of Solstheim. Locations include:
- Sold by Glover Mallory in Raven Rock.
- Found as random loot in chests or as a world item.
- Worn by reavers.
Smithing
A Chitin Helmet requires a Smithing level of 30 and the Elven Smithing perk to create. It can be forged at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 1 × Netch Leather
- 1 × Iron Ingot
- 3 × Chitin Plate
It can be upgraded with a chitin plate at a workbench and also benefit from the Elven Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
