City Guards are a character in The Elder Scrolls: Arena. They protect towns, villages and settlements from danger. They will attack the Eternal Champion if they have committed a crime and, unlike later entries of the series, they will not give the option to surrender or pay a fine. Only once the Champion leaves the area, will they be safe from pursuit.
Variants[]
- Sergeant – faster and stronger than normal guards
- Captain – faster than sergeants; usually work in the Palace or in important areas of the city
