After nearing the meeting area of the leaders, Commander Pelletus will inform them that you have infiltrated the estate.
Commander Pelletus: "Lord Quintus! Intruders have penetrated the estate. We need to move the three of you immediately!" Lord Quintus Jarol: "Do not be alarmed, my friends. We've prepared for any contingency. Commander, secure the halls. Make sure no one follows us!" Pelletus: "Of course, my lord. We'll find the intruders."
Jarol, Carolus, and Fortunata will evecuate. Pelletus will be guarding the exit, and you must kill him to continue on.

- In the Contractor's Note, the artificer advises Pelletus to burn the note after reading it so that others won't discover the puzzle regarding the wine casks. The note is still intact, meaning Pelletus neglected to burn the note or simply did not read it.
