
Companion quests are quests in The Elder Scrolls Online the revolve around a specific companion. Each companion has an associated questline of three or four quests, where quests are completed sequentially and are made available once the Vestige reaches a minimum level of affinity with the companion. The first quest in the series takes place in a specific location to recruit the companion, and each successive quest afterwards requires more affinity than the last before it is offered. Companions will offer quests as soon as they have the required affinity while they are active and must be present while completing objectives during their quests. Having a companion's affinity reduced during a quest will not stop it from being progressed as long as it has already started. If enough affinity has been earned, the next quest in the series can be offered immediate after completion of the previous. Completion the final companion quest in a series will unlock that companion as a houseguest.
