Conjured Ward is a Sorcerer active skill in the Daedric Summoning skill line in The Elder Scrolls Online.

Description[]

Creates a 23-point damage shield on self and summoned creatures for 20 seconds.

Requirement[]

  • Unlocked at Daedric Summoning rank 42.

Hardened Ward[]

  • Update 2: This ability now has a unique icon.[1]
  • Update 7: Fixed an issue where Battle Spirit was applying additively rather than multiplicatively to several abilities, including this ability [2]
  • Update 7: This ability and its morphs will now properly increase in effectiveness as it ranks up.[2]
  • Update 7: This ability will now properly play its visual effects if cast multiple times in a short period.[2]
  • Update 9: Fixed an issue with this ability and its morphs where the damage shield created for your pets was not updating its value when the ability was re-cast.[3]

Empowered Ward[]

  • Update 7: This ability and its morphs will now properly increase in effectiveness as it ranks up.[2]
  • Update 7: Reduced the cost of this ability by 8.5%. This ability also no longer increases the damage done by your summoned pets, and will instead grant Minor Mending, which increases healing done while the ward is active.[2]
  • Update 9: Fixed an issue with this ability and its morphs where the damage shield created for your pets was not updating its value when the ability was re-cast.[3]
  • Update 9: This morph now grants the Minor Intellect buff to you and nearby allies, and will not be removed if the caster's damage shield is removed.[3]
  • Update 9: This morph no longer provides the Minor Mending buff.[3]

  • Update 2: In Update 2, several changes were made to the Daedric Summoning skill tree, and its skills. These include:
    • Your pets will now stealth with you when you initially crouch.
    • Your pets can now be given a target to attack.
    • Your pets will no longer agro other enemies while you are mounted.[1]
  • Update 3: The abilities Hardened Ward and Negate Magic no longer share the same icon.[4]
  • Update 5: Fixed an issue where this ability's shield value wasn't refreshing when the ability was recast on a target before expiring. [5]

  • Update 7: This ability and its morphs will now properly increase in effectiveness as it ranks up.[2]
