Template:Location-stub Cropsford is a half built settlement along the Yellow Road in the Nibenay Basin with supplies scattered about. If you head south to Crestbridge Camp you'll find Barthel Gernand with his daughter and son-in-law, as well as their hired guide Mirisa. Talking to them will reveal that they sold their home in ___? and planned to build a settlement here in Cyrodiil. They arrived and started construction but soon discovered that the land they purchased has become a battleground for two nearby Goblin clans and had to flee. You will then be asked to help stop the Goblin war (see the Goblin Trouble quest page). After the war is stopped the three settlers will move their tents to Cropsford and ask you to check back in a month or so. Mirisa, her work done, will head for the Imperial Bridge Inn (though now that the quest is over she may be killed before making it there).
If you do return to Cropsford after an in-game month you'll find two complete houses have been built.
