Cropsford is a farming town in the province of Cyrodiil.

Background[edit | edit source]

The village is located within the Ebonheart Pact's territory in Cyrodiil and will be guarded by the soldiers of whichever Alliance occupies it. Nearby is Drakelowe Keep to the north and Castle Alessia to the west. While technically under the jurisdiction of whichever Alliance controls the village, the villagers are not loyal to any army, and choose to remain neutral and sell their crops to any who will buy them. The villagers do not mind Alliance forces patrolling the village, as two nearby goblin tribes often raid the town for food.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Completing all ten quests begun in Cropsford will earn the "Cropsford Adventurer" achievement, which counts towards the "Cyrodiil Adventurer" and "Hero of Tamriel" achievements.
  • From Update 11, it will be possible to capture this town as part of the Alliance War.[2]
  • Despite Prefect Antias saying that Cropsford has not been "ravaged" by the Alliance War, the village serves as a point of occupation for any of the three Alliances with battles fought over its control at least occasionally.
  • Cropsford is a location featured in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Unlike its Online counterpart, however, it is not fully established having only recently started being constructed despite the events of Oblivion taking place well after the events of Online.
