The Daedric Battleaxe is a two-handed weapon in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Locations[]

Unenchanted Daedric battleaxes will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 35, or sometimes, but very rarely, as low as level 25. Enchanted battleaxes can be found at level 47, albeit very rarely. These locations include:

Conjured Weapon[]

A weaker version (22 base damage with Mystic Binding perk, 17 base damage without perks) of the Daedric battleaxe can also be conjured using the Bound Battleaxe Conjuration spell.

Smithing[]

The Daedric battleaxe requires a Smithing level of 90 and the Daedric Smithing perk to create. It is made at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:

It can be upgraded with an ebony ingot at a grindstone and also benefits from the Daedric Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement. Daedra hearts however, are incredibly troublesome to come across in Skyrim.

Atronach Forge[]

A Daedric battleaxe can also be crafted at the Atronach Forge, however, to do so, a Sigil Stone is required, which can only be obtained via the Conjuration Ritual Spell, which in itself requires a Conjuration skill of 90.

The Atronach Forge requires the following components to forge a Daedric battleaxe:

Trivia[]

  • If examined closely, the meat of the Daedra Heart can be seen squished between the plates of the head of the axe.
