Damage is a combat property, enchantment modifier, and alchemical effect in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim activated when a foe or the Dragonborn is struck with a weapon, spell, or a harmful ingredient is consumed. The damage afflicted is subtracted from the health pool equal to the damage rank of the weapon, but only after perks and armor value are factored in.
