Day of Final Passage was the day when Ysgramor and his freshly-joined Five Hundred Companions left Jylkurfyk to sail over the Sea of Ghosts and reach Skyrim, known to the Nedes at that time as Mereth. It marked the very beginning of the time period called The Return.
