For other uses, see Dispel.

Dispel, a Mysticism magical effect, removes a spell-effect from the target. This does not affect curses, diseases or constant effect enchantments. This effect is very useful when fighting mages as summoned creatures, bound weapons and Shield spells can be removed from the target. Long-lasting magical effects, such as drain, can also be removed from yourself with Dispel. Summoned creatures can be dispelled making a target dispel spell useful against necromancers.

Ingredients that cause Dispel

Unless the ingredient has "Dispel" as its first effect, the ingredient must be combined with related ingredients via Alchemy to make a potion with the Dispel effect.
