Template:OblivionNPCs Dovyn Aren is an ex-member of the Thieves Guild. Dovyn spends his days walking around the Imperial City or wandering through in the sewer. His house is located in the northeastern section of the Elven Gardens District, right next to Ida Vlinorman's house, it has two stories with the upper being his personal living quarters. He carries a steel longsword and wearsleather cuirass and boots along with burgundy linens. Dovyn also teaches basic Alteration and when asked about it he says "Dovyn Aren. Yeah, I still do training. I'm not what I used to be, but I can still teach Alteration just fine." He is willing to share information with fellow thieves.

- Due to his race and surname, Dovyn Aren may be related to Savos Aren , Archmage of the College of Winterhold in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
- He may also be related to Fathis Aren in the mages guild in Oblivion.
