The Dragonbone Greatsword is a two-handed weapon found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard.
Locations[]
- Can be found in various locations around Skyrim.
- Randomly obtained from defeating the Keepers in the Soul Cairn at higher levels.
Smithing[]
The dragonbone greatsword requires a Smithing level of 100 and the Dragon Armor perk to create. It can be forged at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 4 x Dragon Bones
- 1 x Ebony Ingot
- 3 x Leather Strips
It can be upgraded with a dragon bone at a grindstone and also benefits from the Dragon Armor perk, which doubles the improvement.

- The dragonbone greatsword is a possible weapon of a summoned wrathman, though it is not lootable.
