Mechanics[]
Dragons will typically fight on the ground, but can use either elemental breath attacks or Lightning Bolt and Delayed Lightning Bolt spells, in which they will take flight and cannot be harmed with melee weapons. Despite physically moving out of reach, when they move backwards in preparation for an attack, their animation does not share the same space as their hit box, making it easy to successfully attack them.
