The Drainblood Battleaxe is a unique Ancient Nord Battle Axe in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Acquisition[]
The battleaxe is one of four unique ghost weapons wielded by spectral variants of Draugr. These can be encountered only in Labyrinthian during "The Staff of Magnus" quest, with the exception of the Ghostblade found during "A Love Beyond Death."
The other three spectral weapons are the Drainheart Sword, Drainspell Bow, and Ghostblade.
Enchantment[]
It absorbs 15 points of health from the enemy with each hit. As with all ghost weapons, it cannot be improved at a grindstone, although it can be disenchanted to gain the Absorb Health enchantment.
