Dread zombies are undead creatures in Cyrodiil. Among the various types of zombies encountered, dread zombies are the strongest, despite their weakness to fire magic. The disease Astral Vapors can be contracted by being in close proximity to them, which halts magicka regeneration until it is cured.
Physical appearance[]
Dread zombies appear as decaying corpses. Bits of bone can be seen through their decomposing skin and meat. They also have a distinctive blue aura. Despite being undead, detect life spells can locate these creatures.
Weaknesses[]
Dread zombies are weak to fire. They resist bladed weapons as they do not bleed, but blunt weapons, such as maces or axes, have full effect.
