Dunroot Burrow is located southeast of Camp Hopeful, walk on the path along the ridge of the mountain and the cave is at the top, guarded by a green glowing Elytra. To enter the Hero must kill it to obtain Felldew. Ingesting Felldew is required for entrance.

Overview[]

Dunroot Burrow is a large area with four sublevels and they contain many Elytras in all the rooms entered. The cave is visited to recover the Chalice of Reversal for Thadon. During Addiction, the Hero must go through Dunroot Burrow, while repeatedly ingesting Felldew and killing the Elytra that contains the drug. At the end of the cave is the Chalice, along with several Felldew addicts.

In the last room is a unique pair of Wrist Irons, alike to the ones you get at the beginning of the game.

Sheogorath sent the Hero to speak to Lord Thadon, Duke of Mania, as part of the quest "Understanding Madness." Speaking to Thadon will activate this quest.
