Ebony Arrows are weapons that return from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Ebony Arrows are the second rarest arrow in Skyrim, right after the Daedric arrow. Due to the rarity of the arrow, it might be useful to duplicate the arrow by giving it to a follower, or by using the guard duplication trick.
- They can occasionally be found in chests and containers. *Inside Dwarven Centurions .
- Narzulbur, the Orc Stronghold. Inside the shed that also contains the iron and ebony ore and iron ingots. Taking these arrows is a crime.
- Starting around level 40 ebony arrows (along with all other ebony goods) becomes available in good quantity from blacksmith merchants such as Eorlund Gray-Mane or at Warmaiden's .
- The Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun sells between 50-60 arrows.
To gain a steady supply of Ebony Arrows early one, head to the Labyrinthian and clear out Lost Valkygg. The Draugr Lord at the end next to the exit always carries an Ebony bow and a large quantity of arrows, regardless of level. Next, recruit a follower who prefers bows and give them an ebony arrow. Finally, Barbas must be recruited as a second follower, without completing the Daedric quest, "A Daedra's Best Friend", as he returns to his master and is forever inaccessible. With these two followers, enter a battle. Stand back while Barbas takes the brunt of the physical blows. Allow the follower to shoot the foe with their arrows. Since followers always have an infinite supply of arrows, these can be retrieved from the ground or corpses. This works with all arrow types, save Bound Arrows.
