The Ebony Bow is a bow found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Locations
Unenchanted Ebony Bows will begin to appear throughout Skyrim once the Dragonborn has reached level 36, and enchanted bows can be found at level 37. However, it is possible to obtain one when the Dragonborn is as low as level 18. These locations include:
- Blacksmiths and General Goods Merchants.
- Wielded by various characters or enemies, particularly Draugr Deathlords and Draugr Death Overlords.
- Found as random loot in chests, or as a world item throughout Skyrim.
- Can be found at Lost Valkygg in Labyrinthian, on a Draugr Deathlord. This bow can spawn as early as level 1.
Smithing
The Ebony Bow requires a Smithing level of 80 and the Ebony Smithing perk to create. It is made at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 3 x Ebony Ingots
It can be upgraded with an Ebony Ingot at a grindstone and also benefits from the Ebony Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
