"Are you my gallant hero? Have you come to whisk me away, to a life of adventure and romance?"

Erdi is a Nord maid at the Blue Palace of Solitude. She works alongside Una.

Background[edit | edit source]

Dialogue between Lisette, a graduate from the Bards College, and Una, another maid in the Blue Palace, indicates that Una shows a certain level of distaste for her fellow maid Erdi:

Una: "I keep coming out here thinking I'll see what others see in this... frivolity."
Lisette: "You're a hard woman to please, Una."
Una: "I'm pleased when the palace is clean, I'm pleased when the beds are made on time, I'm pleased when Erdi isn't around. Most of those don't happen very often."

The Mind of Madness[edit | edit source]

She provides the Dragonborn with the key to the Pelagius Wing, to investigate the disappearance of Dervenin's master. She initially refuses, stating that she will get in trouble and that the Wing is "scary," but eventually relinquishes the key if the Dragonborn mentions Falk Firebeard's name.

If the Dragonborn is male, she will ask if the Dragonborn is her "knight," who'll take her to his castle, and go adventuring together. If female, Erdi will talk about traveling Skyrim together and mentions a dream of a dashing knight rescuing her.

Quotes[edit | edit source]

  • "Are you my gallant hero? Have you come to whisk me away, to a life of adventure and romance?"
  • "I made a wish in the town well that a golden knight came to take me away to his castle. Oh, does it spoil the wish if I tell?"

  • "Oh, hello! Just tidying up."
  • "Some day a brave knight will come and take me away some day."

  • "Someday, I'll be a gallant heroine. You make it look so... appealing."
  • "Oh, I'd get in trouble for that. It's not allowed. Besides, it's scary in there!" ―When requested for the key to the Pelagius Wing.
  • "Well... I suppose in that case, it's okay to let you in. But only briefly. Be careful, and come right back!" ―When convinced to relinquish the key to the Dragonborn.
