"Remember Redoran. Never Forget."
―Anonymous[src]

The Fall of Ald'ruhn was a battle during the Oblivion Crisis of the third era. It is one of the winning battles in the hands of the Daedra, invading in the name of Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince of Revolution and Change. The Daedric Hordes of Oblivion had overpowered the Great House Redoran in Ald'ruhn, forcing them to resurrect Skar, the Great Emperor Crab that has been a staple of Ald'ruhn ever since its foundation. In the end, even the mighty claws of Skar were unable to hold back the Daedra, even when the city itself had literally rose up to fight, was not able to defeat the Daedra of Oblivion. As the Dark Elves of Vvardenfell retreated, the Daedric Horde had advanced into the Ashlands and attacked the Ghostgate, the gateway to the center of Red Mountain.[UL 1]
