The bow is crafted from chitin harvested from the Chaurus—the creature used for most of the Falmer's weaponry, apparel and dwellings.

- The Falmer Bow is wielded by most Falmer, within their hives or Dwemer Ruins.
Smithing[]
The Falmer Bow can be upgraded with a Chaurus Chitin at a grindstone, though it does not benefit from any Smithing perks. This means that it cannot be upgraded past Flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill past 100, via enchanted apparel and potions to Fortify Smithing.
