Falmer Hardened Armor is a set of heavy armor that appears in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard. It is visually identical to Falmer heavy armor but weaker. It also provides the same protection as Dwarven armor though it is slightly lighter.

Locations

Pieces are commonly worn by Falmer Warmongers, occasionally by Falmer Shadowmasters, and rarely by Falmer Skulkers and Falmer Gloomlurkers. Once Dawnguard has been installed, it can be found throughout Skyrim. It may also be worn by certain Falmer in Nchuand-Zel that spawn when the automatons inside are reactivated.

Smithing

All pieces can be upgraded with Chaurus chitin at a workbench and also benefit from the Advanced Armors perk, which doubles the improvement.
