Fanacasecul is an Ayleid Ruin, which sits on the coastline of Lake Rumare, almost directly south of Weye and the Wawnet Inn. On the Red Ring Road, it is west of the Waterfront and just north of Fort Virtue. Two bandits generally patrol the top area.

Fanacasecul's relatively intact foundation lies partially submerged. On top of the north foundation are a chest, a bedroll, and an Ayleid Cask.

Plant types are limited to water hyacinth and sacred lotus in the waters around the ruin but, they appear in good numbers. A Nirnroot lies near the southern foundation, by the steps.
