Dragon Rise is a community event in The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr running from October 3–14, 2019. It builds up to the release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Dragonhold later in the month. It involves completing various tasks to unlock community-wide rewards. It also included dragon sightings in the starter and alliance capital cities (cosmetic only, with dialogue reactions from characters).
The community rewards are as follows, with all but the last unlocked so far:
- Green Dragon Imp pet
- Grim Harvester costume
- Dragon's Treasure Trove furnishing
- XP boost in Northern Elsweyr (starting October 9)
- Gold boost in Northern Elsweyr (not yet unlocked)
The following activities contribute to earning the community rewards:
- Earning the Northern Elsweyr Pathfinder achievement
- Slaying Dragons in Northern Elsweyr
- Completing the Dragonhold Prologue quests (starting October 8)
The event also gives Event Tickets, which can be obtained by:
- Killing bosses and dragons in Northern Elsweyr
- Includes final boss of Moongrave Fane
- Appears to include quest bosses
- Dropped rarely by regular creatures throughout Northern Elsweyr
- Buying from Crown Store
The above methods (minus the Crown Store) can also give Nafaalilargus's Strongbox drops, which contain various items, including motifs and furnishings.
During this time, Event Tickets can be exchanged with The Impresario for:
- Cadwell Style pages
- Abnur Tharn Style pages
- The Onyx Indrik Pet
- All four Indrik Feathers
- All four Onyx Indrik Berries (introduces the final one, allowing players to obtain the Onyx Indrik)
Finally, defeating dragons contributes towards Zenimax donating money to real-world animal charities as part of the #SlayDragonsSaveCats campaign.
