Walkthrough[]
Roggi Knot-Beard, in Kynesgrove, asks the Dragonborn to find his ancestral shield. After the shield is returned, Roggi teaches the Dragonborn "some blocking techniques" that adds one to Block; additionally, Roggi becomes available as a follower and as a spouse.
- Find Roggi Knot-Beard either in the Braidwood Inn in Kynesgrove or in the Steamscorch Mine located up the hill on the left side of the tavern.
- Roggi tells the story about how his relative/ancestor stumbled into a cave and lost the ancestral shield and asks the Dragonborn to help him retrieve it.
- The shield's location is random, depending on where Roggi tells the Dragonborn to find it.
