Find Runil's Journal is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in which the Dragonborn is asked by Runil, a Priest of Arkay, to recover his journal that he had lost.

Walkthrough[]
Runil, a Priest of Arkay, can be found in the town of Falkreath. When speaking to him, he may ask the Dragonborn to find a journal that he kept during the Great War.
Runil will send the Dragonborn to a radiant location (usually a cave) to find the journal and return it to him. Possible locations include:
- Bloated Man's Grotto
- Darkshade – listed as Darkshade Copse
- Embershard Mine
- Greywater Gorge
- Halldir's Cairn
- Moss Mother Cavern
- North Brittleshin Pass
- Southfringe Sanctum
- Sunderstone Gorge
When the Dragonborn returns with the journal, he is very grateful and rewards the Dragonborn with a leveled amount of 
. Completing this quest raises Runil's disposition towards the Dragonborn, and will allow them to take miscellaneous items from the Falkreath Hall of the Dead without incurring a bounty.

Trivia[]
- Completing this quest goes towards Assisting the People of Falkreath.
- This quest cannot be offered if the player already has a fetch quest open for Frida, Noster Eagle-Eye, Roggi Knot-Beard, or Oengul War-Anvil. This is because all of these characters' quests are encoded as a single quest, which cannot be open more than once at a time.
