Food is a type of consumable item in The Elder Scrolls Online that temporarily increases the Vestige's maximum Health, Magicka, and/or Stamina attributes for 35 minutes up to 2 hours, with a 5 second cooldown. Meats will increase Health, fruits will increase Magicka, and vegetables will increase Stamina. Food can be purchased from chefs and brewers throughout Tamriel, found as random loot, or cooked by the Vestige once they learn recipes they find. The Gourmand skill increases how long the effect lasts, while the Chef skill increases how many samples are made from one recipe.
