Frost Damage is a spell effect from the Destruction school of magic. It has a lower base Magicka cost than Fire or Shock Damage.

Resistances and weaknesses

• All Nords have a 50% Resistance to Frost Damage.
• All Bretons have a 25% Resistance to Magic and thus to Frost Damage.
• Flame Atronachs have a Weakness to Frost.
• Frost Atronachs have a 100% Resistance to Frost Damage.
• Ghosts have a 100% Resistance to Frost Damage.
• Vampires have a strong resistance to Frost including the Hero if they have been turned into one.

Novice-level spells

• Snowball: Deals 10 points of frost damage to a single target
• Cold Touch: Deals 15 points of frost damage to a single target (on touch)

Apprentice-level spells

• Hailstone: Deals 20 points of frost damage to a single target
• Weakness to Frost: Target is inflicted with a 25% weakness to frost for 30 seconds
• Frost Touch: Deals 25 points of frost damage to a single target (on touch)

Adept-level spells

• Frost Bolt: Deals 35 points of frost damage to a single target
• Hail Storm: Deals 30 points of frost damage over 2 seconds to all creatures in a 10-ft radius
• Winter's Grasp: Deals 45 points of frost damage to a single target (on touch)
• Baronoff's Bloody Icicle: Deals 30 points of damage to a single target

Expert-level spells

• Ice Storm: Deals 40 points of frost damage over 2 seconds to all creatures in a 15-foot radius.
• Arctic Blow: Deals 80 points of frost damage to a single target (on touch)
• Ice Bolt: Deals 70 points of frost damage to a single target

Master-level spells

• Ice Blast: Deals 110 points of frost damage to a single target
• Blizzard: Deals 75 points of frost damage over 2 seconds to all creatures in a 20-ft radius (different in Skyrim)
• Nordic Wrath: Deals 30 frost damage per second for 780 seconds to one target (note: this spell was taken out of the game because it was overpowered, but if you save in Frostcrag Spire and delete the expansion, the game will glitch, taking you to an area where you find a scroll with this spell on it).
