- For other uses, see Fur Gauntlets.
Fur Gauntlets are a piece of light armor and part of the Fur Armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Locations[]
Unenchanted armor will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 1. These locations include:
- Found as random loot in chests or as a world item.
- Dropped as random loot by Hold Guards.
- Can be looted from dead Stormcloak soldiers in Helgen.
Variants[]
- Gloves of the Pugilist – Unique pair of gauntlets that grant a bonus to unarmed attacks.
Smithing[]
Fur Gauntlets can be upgraded at a workbench with Leather, however they do not benefit from any Smithing perks. This means the gauntlets cannot be improved past flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100. This can be achieved by using enchanted items and/or blacksmithing potions to fortify Smithing.
Trivia[]
- They are actually considered to be a part of the Stormcloak armor set, alongside the Fur Boots, rather than the Fur Armor set.
