Gargoyle Brutes are a strong subtype of gargoyles. Gargoyle Brutes can appear to be just statues, allowing the Dragonborn to progress until surrounded before attacking. This is a deadly tactic they use to catch unsuspecting victims off-guard. They can be found inside Volkihar Ruins.
