Garmr is a unique death hound found staying with the Volkihar Clan inside Castle Volkihar. Like CuSith, he can become a follower if the Dragonborn has chosen to become a Vampire Lord.
Trivia[]
- The name Garmr is a reference to the Garmr of Norse mythology, a blood-colored hound who guards the gates of Hel.
- Garmr can send hired thugs after the Dragonborn if they steal something from Castle Volkihar, even if he is killed during the quest "Kindred Judgment," despite being a dog.
- Garmr can be kept as a follower if the Dragonborn cures themselves of vampirism, provided they are an active follower at the time. If dismissed, they cannot become a follower again unless the Dragonborn regains their vampirism.
