Get Outfitted is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This is a miscellaneous quest given by Legate Rikke inside Castle Dour during the Imperial Legion questline.

Background

Now, that's it. One free outfit per soldier. You lose that, or get it banged up, you'll need to pay like everyone else.

Walkthrough

This miscellaneous quest will be available after completing the quest Joining the Legion and talking to General Tullius. Head to Beirand, the blacksmith in Solitude. Beirand will give the Dragonborn his/her Imperial gear. Several options are available: light, medium or heavy armor.

Selecting the option "Light" will result in:

• Imperial Light Armor
• Imperial Light Boots
• Imperial Light Bracers
• Imperial Light Helmet
• Imperial Light Shield

Selecting the option "Medium" will result in:

• Studded Imperial Armor
• Imperial Light Boots
• Imperial Light Bracers
• Imperial Light Helmet
• Imperial Shield

Selecting the option "Heavy" will result in:

• Imperial Armor
• Imperial Boots
• Imperial Bracers
• Imperial Helmet
• Imperial Shield

•  PC   The quest may not be marked as completed after recieving a set of heavy armor from Beirand and will remain in the Dragonborn's journal.
  •  PC (Fix)   The console command "setstage cw01aoutfitimperial 10" will fix this and give the Dragonborn a set of light armor.
  • If you want the Intermediate Armor, the command is "setstage cw01aoutfitimperial 11". In case of the Heavy Armor, then it is "setstage cw01aoutfitimperial 12".
