Description[]
This magical sword is almost a complete mystery. Thieves tell tales about its golden make and how it was actually forged by ancient dragons of the North. Their tales claim that it was given to a great knight who was sworn to protect the dragons. The Sword lends its wielder the ability to deal fire damage to an enemy.

Goldbrand is a powerful, golden katana with a fire damage enchantment. In Morrowind, it can be converted into the more powerful Eltonbrand, which is more damaging and has an added strength-boost enchantment, by completing a secret and obscure quest.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion[]

Goldbrand can be acquired from completing the Boethiah's Shrine quest "Boethiah's Quest." It is possibly one of most powerful weapons in the gamе when its enchantment is charged. Using the Umbra sword in conjunction with this weapon can create a deadly combo as you can use the Umbra sword to recharge Goldbrand.
