The Great Chapel of Mara is the local Nine Divines chapel in Bravil. It is located on the western end of Bravil's first island.

The chapel specializes in Speed and Willpower. The goddess Mara is worshipped here. Chana Mona is the chapel's main priestess, while Uravasa Othrelas and Marz are her helpers in the chapel. Olava the Fair is Mara's Living Saint.

Knights of the Nine[]

When the Knights of the Nine quest "Nature's Fury" is completed, the chapel is attacked by Aurorans. The chapel altars are desecrated and four dead priests are strewn across the floor. The pews are knocked over and runes are found around the altar much like in the Chapel of Dibella.

Areas[]

The Great Chapel of Mara[]

All the doors from the outside lead to this room. A staircase leads down from the entrance to a small hallway with three doors. The two doors on the west wall open into the Undercroft and the door on the east wall leads to the Chapel Hall. The main Altar of the Nine lies in the center of the room with the smaller altars to the Nine Divines surrounding the edges.

The Chapel Hall[]

The room when entering the Chapel Hall has two barrels in the southwest corner that contain food, as do two more in the opposite corner. There are two wine racks on the southeast corner that hold ten bottles of Cheap Wine. The bookshelf to the northeast holds a copy of the skill book 2920, Rain's Hand. Two loves of bread, two bottles of Surilie Brothers Wine, and a bottle of Tamika's West Weald Wine sit on the table in the middle of the room. The doorway to the staircase leads to the bedrooms of the Chapel Priests.

Bravil Chapel Undercroft[]

The two doors that lead to the Chapel Undercroft lead to a large room with a drain in the middle of the floor and a tomb on the north and south walls. The stairs at the west and northeast ends of the room lead to an area with more tombs. The stairs in the southeast corner of the room lead to an area exactly the same as the last two but with a skeleton and a jewelry chest on the ledge next to the tomb.
