Not to be confused with Greymoor Cavern.
For other uses, see Blackreach (Online).

Greymoor Caverns is a zone in The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor constituting a part of Blackreach beneath Skyrim. The system contains four large caverns connected by Dwemer gates, namely Dusktown Cavern, Greymoor Cavern, Lightless Hollow and Dark Moon Grotto. The caverns are accessed by any of three great lifts found across Western Skyrim or by the connected Arkthzand and Mzark caverns.[1]

Background[]

The Lightless Hollow.

Greymoor Caverns is an expansive section of Blackreach constituting much of the subterranean area of Hjaalmarch and Haafingar. The caverns were originally occupied by the Dwemer prior to their disappearance, as evident by the many structures and animunculi left behind. Now, the caverns are home to Falmer and the vampires of the Gray Host, among various other creatures. Much of the caverns' landscape, like the rest of Blackreach, is open and expansive, covered in mist and fog throughout. Bioluminescent biota, including giant mushrooms, are prevalent, providing ambient hues of blue, cyan and purple lighting.[1]
