Halldir's Staff is a unique weapon in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Acquisition

Halldir's staff is worn by the ancient Nord wizard Halldir inside his cave Halldir's Cairn. After the Dragonborn kills him in the last chamber, the staff can be looted from his ashes.

• When the boss is killed, he will drop his staff on the ground while also having one in the ash pile left behind. This makes it possible to have two of this item.
• The staff seems to have trouble being placed into display cases. Instead of being placed in one, it appears near the case in mid-air.
• The first glitch can be used to activate a second glitch. If the player is holding one of the staves in the left hand and an Orcish Mace in the right, with the Soul Trap enchantment, and they equip the other staff into the right hand, the staff and mace will be equipped at the same time and both be shown in their hand. When this is done, only the effects of the mace will be active.
