Hestra was the Imperial Empress of Cyrodiil during the early First Era.
In 1E 1033, she "demanded the head of the most infamous of brigadiers, "Red" Bramman."[1]
Hestra is cited in the book Where Were You When the Dragon Broke?, where it is claimed she suggests that during the Dragon Break, Cyrodiil "became an Empire across the stars."[2]
Another mention of Hestra comes from the book Lost Legends, wherein it tells of a conflict with a "rebel leader of that era who was eventually cornered and slain in battle, at the cost of a full legion of men." The book claims that this rebel was in fact Red Eagle,[3] also affirmed by the book The Legend of Red Eagle, suggesting that the conflict occurred around 1E 1030.[4]
