"Some advice, friend. That armor won't offer much protection in a real fight." '' -Hold Guard
- Main article: Armor (Skyrim)
The Hide Armor is a set of Light Armor in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It has the lowest armor rating of all sets.
Smithing
- Main article: Smithing
Hide Armor can be crafted at a Forge without any perk requirements. The materials to craft it are Leather and Leather Strips which can be easily gathered by hunting animals.
Improving
The Hide Armor set can be improved at a Workbench with one Leather per piece. This increases the armor rating provided by the item. The factor of the improvement is modified by the Smithing skill.
