- The item can be found in Fellglow Keep, only during the quest "Hitting the Books." They are in the circular library room before fighting The Caller. They can be found on one of the inside bookshelves.
- Can be found during a random encounter with a vampire named Traveler in Dawnguard.
- Found as random loot throughout Solstheim in Dragonborn.
