Hope Lost is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Background[]
The hamlet of Moira's Hope has met with disaster. Bloodfiends fill the streets, and the few survivors that remain are trying desperately to stay alive. I agreed to help Adusa-daro provide aid and find out who is behind this attack.

Walkthrough[]
Near Moira's Hope, you will run into Adusa-daro. She will tell you that this peaceful town was overrun by Bloodfiends before she could arrive to help, but that there are still survivors. She saw some of them head to the barn in the distance, so she will send you there to check on them.
Head to the barn in the east of town. When you enter, Adusa will just have arrived, and you will hear a conversation between her and a townsperson where he questions why he should trust a vampire like her. On the top floor of the barn, you will find a copy of the lorebook Antecedents of Dwemer Law, so be sure to pick that up. Either way, speak with Adusa here. She will tell you to go into town and look for more survivors while she guards the people in the barn.
There are four townsfolk for you to save. Celeste will be in a house in the south of town, hiding behind a table on its side. She will tell you of a woman who came into town and turned everyone into bloodfiends. Across the road from here is the Esmery House; the building with a door. On the top floor, you will find Corwyn. He will tell you that the woman Celeste mentioned is called Lleraya. After talking to him, head outside and to the house to your right. You will find the body of Federic; his body will display little blood for his violent death. Finally, head for the house behind the Esmery House, where you will find that Thibierry has barricaded the door.
Once you have found all the survivors, bring them back to the barn and speak with Adusa there. While you were gone, she discovered that the bloodfiends here have a commander. She will task you with taking out said commander while she takes the survivors to safety. The commander is in the Mayor's house atop the hill; head in there and take out Maldred Gagnon. After he has been dealt with, meet up with Adusa northeast of town to finish the quest.

Adusa made it to the barn before me. She's having a heated conversation with one of Moira's Hope's survivors. I should listen to their exchange.

The survivor doesn't seem to completely trust Adusa. I should talk to her and find out what she thinks we should do next.

Adusa decided to remain at the barn and protect the survivors. She asked me to head out and see if I could round up any other survivors and lead them back to the barn.

I brought the survivors I was able to find back to the barn. Now I should talk to Adusa and see how she wants to proceed.

I defeated the vampire commander. Unfortunately, he turned out to be the missing constable, Maldred. I should meet Adusa outside of town and tell her what happened.
