Houseguests are characters in The Elder Scrolls Online who can be present at any of the Vestige's houses. This feature was introduced with the Lost Treasures of Skyrim event. Houseguests can be spoken to and configured to walk around the house they are in and perform certain animations. They do not offer any special services and can be placed in multiple houses simultaneously. Most houseguests can be acquired from the Crown Store. Companions will become available as houseguests for free upon completion of their personal quest lines.
