Hroki, along with Tor, is one of the Whiterun Guards presumably killed by Mirmulnir during his attack on the Western Watchtower.

Hroki is mentioned by one of the Whiterun Guards who survived Mirmulnir's attack, during the quest "Dragon Rising."
