- "Friends like you are hard to find and very valuable to me."
- ―Ingjard[src]
Ingjard is a Nord warrior and member of the Dawnguard who can be used as a follower. She appears at Fort Dawnguard and can only be recruited after the quest "Prophet."
Follower[]
She has no level cap, like a few others in the Dawnguard. She specializes in Heavy Armor, Two-Handed, Block, and Archery. She is a very effective follower when attacking, yet quite vulnerable, similar to Stenvar. She can also join The Blades or become a Steward.
She is the only member of the Dawnguard who will enter into dialogue with (and be recruited as a follower by) the Dragonborn if they are a vampire.
Dialogue[]
"I hear you're doing a lot of the work in tracking down these vampires. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know."
- How did you join the Dawnguard? "Something bad happens, word spreads. More bad things happen, people worry. The more they worry, the more they talk about it. I've been hearing rumors for a bit now. I was glad to find out not only the bad rumors were true."
Combat Behavior and Skills[]
Ingjard has a Morality of 3, meaning that she will not commit any crimes for the Dragonborn.
As a Nord, Ingjard is also 50% resistant to frost damage.

Bugs[]

This section contains bugs related to Ingjard. Before adding a bug to this list, consider the following:
|
- PC If the Dragonborn becomes a Vampire Lord when Ingjard is a follower, she will say, "I won't kill you, but I will head to Fort Dawnguard," then the notification will say, "Your follower leaves your service," but the follower spot remains occupied. But she is not in Fort Dawnguard if the Dragonborn decides to look for her, instead she will find a way back to the Dragonborn if the vampirism has been cured.
